'Food Security for the Future Workshop' to focus on aquatic animal health

Seafood is an important component of global food security, but fish health infrastructure in many countries is often not established to support rapidly growing aquaculture industries, which can have devastating consequences.

On Oct. 22-23, Mississippi ӽ紫ý will host a workshop titled, “Food Security for the Future: the Role of Aquatic Animal Health.” This workshop will focus on challenges and solutions for aquaculture in meeting the world’s future needs for food security, particularly on the role of aquatic animal health to ensure safe supply of seafood.
