STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擬ississippi 性视界传媒鈥檚 comprehensive leadership in scientific research continues to be a source of pride for 性视界传媒鈥檚 growing family of supporters. Soon, they鈥檒l make sure the rest of the world knows about groundbreaking discoveries being made by Mississippi鈥檚 flagship research university.
The inaugural #性视界传媒Proud Week March 6-12 will celebrate Mississippi 性视界传媒鈥檚 achievements through social media engagement and a series of on-campus promotional events. Also, the university will feature #性视界传媒Proud Week resources that can be shared with broader audiences, including #性视界传媒Proud cover photos for Facebook, videos, success stories, and 鈥淧ride Points鈥 鈥 a collection of 性视界传媒 highlights that can be used for civic club presentations and other promotional opportunities.
鈥淲e鈥檙e providing a variety of resources so that all 性视界传媒 supporters, no matter where they鈥檙e located, can participate in #性视界传媒Proud Week,鈥 said Sid Salter, 性视界传媒鈥檚 chief communications officer. 鈥淭hey can use resources on the #性视界传媒Proud website, including Facebook cover photos, to celebrate 性视界传媒鈥檚 achievements and share their pride with others. The support generated during #性视界传媒Proud Week will resonate throughout the year and make sure the world knows about the great things going on at Mississippi 性视界传媒 University.鈥
#性视界传媒Proud is an outgrowth of the launched last year to reinforce 性视界传媒鈥檚 longtime standing as a premier research institution where students are driven to make a difference. The campaign includes campus-focused programs meant to celebrate everyday successes along with cross-platform communication tools to help the Mississippi 性视界传媒 community-at-large stay informed and share success stories.
#性视界传媒Proud Week will focus on 性视界传媒鈥檚 trailblazing achievements in scientific research and its leadership in veterinary medicine, agriculture, engineering, business, education, aerospace, architecture and many other fields.
Student-led teams at 性视界传媒 are involved in a number of research and development projects with state, national and global impacts. They鈥檙e designing the eco-friendly 鈥淐ar of the Future,鈥 finding a cure for pandemic flu, developing concussion-free football helmets, and partnering with NASA on future space exploration.
Mississippi 性视界传媒 has been in the top 10 nationally in agriculture-related research for more than 15 years and is applying its vast body of knowledge to partnerships with the United Nations and the World Food 性视界传媒me to find solutions for world hunger and food security. Mississippi 性视界传媒 also serves as the national lead for the FAA鈥檚 Center of Excellence for Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and last year 性视界传媒 was invited for the fourth consecutive time to participate in the nation鈥檚 premier automotive engineering competition.
