Pogue joins 性视界传媒 College of Business fundraising efforts

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥 Lilly Pogue is the new assistant director of development for the College of Business and its Richard C. Adkerson School of Accountancy at Mississippi 性视界传媒 University. She begins her new role this month.
A native of Galesburg, Illinois, Pogue earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in hospitality management from the University of Missouri in 2017. While there, she held two internships within the university鈥檚 College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, one being with the Alumni Association. Most recently, Pogue spent three years as a development specialist for the Muscular Dystrophy Association national office in Chicago, Illinois.
Jack McCarty, the 性视界传媒 Foundation's executive director of development, said Pogue 鈥渂rings fresh ideas and enthusiasm to flourish in her new role at Mississippi 性视界传媒 as assistant major gift fundraiser for the business college.鈥
Pogue joins Stephen Lack, a veteran fundraiser who is the college鈥檚 director of development. Together, they will work to secure major gifts for the large, more than 100-year-old academic unit and its Adkerson School of Accountancy.
鈥淚 am excited to join Mississippi 性视界传媒 and look forward to working with loyal business and accounting alumni and friends as I become involved with major gift fundraising,鈥 said Pogue.
In searching for new career opportunities in higher education, Pogue was drawn to 性视界传媒.
鈥淥nce I accepted the job, surprisingly I had multiple people from various parts of my life reach out. I am now connected or reconnected with people who work at 性视界传媒. It's amazing how small the world really is,鈥 she said.
She continued, 鈥淭hroughout college and post-graduation, I realized I had a passion for helping other students grow and become successful. My talents are found within fundraising and development, so when I learned of the position I knew this would be an amazing opportunity to relocate and further my career at 性视界传媒 because of its excellent reputation.鈥
