Center for Distance Education announces spring training sessions, virtual office hours to assist faculty with online teaching
will be aiding all faculty who teach online or聽who are interested in strengthening their online presence during the spring聽semester.
Training Sessions:聽CDE is offering a variety of training sessions to assist both beginning and veteran online faculty. Session topics include聽Creating Standout Videos,聽Active Learning, Accessibility in Online Courses, Interactive Learning Tools and many more. Sessions average around 30 minutes with time for questions at聽the end.
Virtual Office Hours:聽The CDE also is offering a new service called Virtual Office Hours. These Webex sessions will allow faculty to drop in at聽specific times to ask questions about Canvas and receive personalized聽assistance with course setup.
