Candidate No. 1 for 性视界传媒 Chemist/Mississippi 性视界传媒 Chemical Lab director announced
The first candidate for the position of 性视界传媒 Chemist and Mississippi 性视界传媒 Chemical Laboratory director is Robert J. 鈥淛oe鈥 Griffitt. He will be giving an open presentation to the 性视界传媒 community on Tuesday, June 14 at 2 p.m. in the Bost theatre. The presentation will also be livestreamed.
Griffitt currently serves as director of the School of Ocean Science and Engineering at the University of Southern Mississippi, a position he has held since 2019. He has been a faculty member at USM since 2008, holding assistant professor, associate professor and professor positions at the university. From 2015-2019, he served as associate director of the Division of Coastal Sciences at USM.
Griffit earned a doctorate in environmental health sciences from the University of South Carolina, as well as a master鈥檚 degree in marine science from USC and a bachelor鈥檚 degree in marine biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
